The newly formed Obion County Middle School has announced the head coaches for the softball program.
School Communications Director Lauren Kendall said Casey Arnett and Alexis Laney will serve as co-head coaches for the sport.
Coach Arnett is an Obion County Central graduate, who graduated from UT Martin with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Education.
She currently teacher seventh grade math and science and has ten years experience in developing athletes.
Coach Laney is originally from Iowa and transferred to UT-Martin, where she was a pitcher for the Skyhawks softball team.
She is entering her third year in the Obion County School System at Lake Road Elementary.
