Former Tennessee Titans General Manager Jon Robinson is back in the National Football League.
The Union City High School graduate was hired by the Miami Dolphins as their new Senior Personnel Executive, according to the NFL Network.
The 50 year old Robinson will be working under new Dolphins General Manager Jon-Eric Sullivan.
Robinson worked in the personnel departments for the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers before coming to the Titans as General Manager in 2016.
Robinson helped produce winning seasons for Tennessee, and remained with the Titans until December of 2022.
With the Titans holding a (7-5) record, Robinson was fired by team owner Amy Adams Strunk, relating back to his trade of A.J. Brown to the Eagles.
The Dolphins are now hoping Robinson can help with a turnaround in Miami, who finished (7-10) this past season with six of those losses on the road.
