The City of Martin has officially begun working on their finance budget for the 2026/2027 Fiscal year.
Martin Mayor David Belote addressed the Finance Committee about how the processed looked in years prior.
They also discussed how they plan to proceed.
With Martin facing several unknowns since the implementation of new processes and procedures, they’ll have to make more than one budget until the hold up on whether or not to have a City Manager is resolved.
The next Martin Finance Committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 19th at 5:15 at the Martin Police Department.
