
The St. Louis Cardinals have announced their nominees for the next Hall of Fame class.
The nominees include Yadier Molina, Albert Pujols, George Hendrick and Brian Jordan.
Hendrick played at St. Louis from 1978 thru 1984, hitting .294 with 122 home runs and 582 RBI’s.
Jordan was with the Cardinals from 1992 thru 1998, accumulating a batting average of .291 with 84 home runs and 367 RBI’s.
Molina played his entire career at St. Louis from 2004 thru 2022.
The 10-time All-Star catcher finished with a batting average of .277 with 176 home runs and 1,022 RBI’s.
Pujols played at St. Louis from 2001 thru 2011, and returned for the 2022 season.
As a Cardinal, the first baseman batted .326 with 469 home runs and 1,397 RBI’S.
Pujols was a 10-time All-Star and three-time National League Most Valuable Player.
Both Molina and Pujols played on the 2006 and 2011 World Series Championship teams.
Voting is now underway until April 17th, with the new Hall of Fame members announced in May.
