The U.S. Food and Drug Administration have announced the voluntary recall of select cottage cheese products due to possible health risks.
The affected products were sold between February 17th and 20th under the Great Value label at Walmart stores in 24 states.
Those sales also included Tennessee and Kentucky.
The products are being recalled because some of the liquid dairy ingredients may have not been fully pasteurized.
This could pose a significant health risk, especially to the young, elderly or those who are immunocompromised.
The FDA says no illnesses or hospitalizations have so far been reported in association with the recall.
