A box truck making its way to Tennessee was loaded with 500 pounds of marijuana on Interstate 40 Monday.
An Arkansas State Police officer pulled the driver over on a traffic violation while traveling from California to Memphis on I-40 in Crawford County.
During the stop, troopers searched the truck’s cargo area and found 507 pounds of marijuana concealed inside meant for a destination to Memphis.
The driver was booked on felony charges of Trafficking a Controlled Substance.
