In high school basketball tournaments last night the Westview Chargers defeated Trenton Peabody again…. this time 71 to 43 and will now play at home again at Westview Monday night. Their opponent will be MASE as the two teams play in the sectional Monday night at Westview.
Meanwhile Memphis East defeated MASE 42 to 39 and will now play at home in Memphis against Trenton Peabody this Monday night.. game time is 7:00 oclock
In Class-A basketball Humboldt defeated Lake County last night 59 to 32 to advance to the Sectional Monday night.
The Vikings will entertain Memphis Business College at home in Humboldt while Booker T Washington will host Lake County in Memphis.
The teams that win Monday night in the Sectional will play in the TSSAA boys state championship games beginning March 18th
