Clean up of the C.E Weldon Building in Martin is set to begin soon.
At Monday’s Martin City Board, Mayor David Belote explained why clean up must occur soon.
The lowest bid for the cleanup was from a construction company out of Nashville for $ 4,350.
Due to the City’s debt, the Mayor had to decide where to pull funds from.
Martin’s next formal City Board meeting will take place April 13th at the Martin Police Department; the public is encouraged to attend.
