


Two people from Obion County were recently arrested in Graves County on multiple charges.
During the early morning hours of March 5th, a deputy conducted a traffic violation stop on a vehicle near the intersection of Sanderson Road and Jimtown Road.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 71 year old Lannie Phipps, of South Fulton, along with a passenger, 32 year old Bobby Madding, of Union City.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the finding of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, marijuana and a digital scale used for drug distribution.
Phipps was taken into custody on charges that included trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance and marijuana and tampering with physical evidence.
Madding was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, along with an active bench warrant for his arrest in Fulton County.
