After unanimous approval from the Weakley County school board last week and the HEED committee Monday, a resolution to move money toward building improvements for Weakley County’s Childcare Center faced the Finance Ways and Means committee yesterday.
The final vote was 5 to 4 in favor of bringing it to the Weakley County Commission floor.
The proposition now heads to the Weakley County Commission to be voted on for the last time before the Daycare can become a reality.
The vote must be a minimum of 10 commissioners in favor of the proposal before the day care can be implemented.
