Obion County Mayor Steve Carr addressed a settlement offer concerning the decision not to proceed with the construction of the Hudgins Road project.
During Monday’s County Commission meeting, Mayor Carr presented the settlement amount to the board members.(AUDIO)
County Attorney Steve Conley also addressed the proposed settlement.(AUDIO)
The Hudgins Road construction project was planned to extend from the County Highway Department Building down to Rives Road.
Following the presentation from Mayor Carr and County Attorney Conley, Commissioners voted 20-to-0 to approve the settlement offer.
