A large group of children were recently registered for Pre-K and Kindergarten in Union City.
School Communications Director Mike Hutchens said elementary school Principal Allison Palmer reported more than 125 students were registered for both groups.
During the registration, Palmer was joined by Vice Principals Bill Kail and Maggie Miller, along with Laney Rogers, the Director of Pre-K and Special Populations, and several elementary teachers.
Palmer said the start for students in Pre-K and Kindergarten was what she called “truly were the educational journey begins”.
Students will still be allowed to register for both Pre-K and Kindergarten until the new school year begins in August.
