
The Westview Chargers will play for the Class-2A TSSAA State Basketball championship on Saturday.
The Chargers beat Smith County 47-37 in the semi-final game today in Murfreesboro.
Westview trailed 20-16 at halftime, but rallied to outscore Smith County 31-17 in the second half.
Miles Brown led the way with 14 points and 11 rebounds, with Arden Smith adding 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Coree Wells and Asa Barnes each had six points in the game, with Graham Simpson and Tayshun Walker each adding five points.
Westview will play for the Gold Ball when they face Chattanooga Prep at 11:00 at the Murphy Center.
