The Westview Chargers boy’s basketball team competed against Chattanooga Prep in the TSSAA Class 2A State Championship in Murfreesboro today. Unfortunately, Westview came up short against Chattanooga Prep with the final score being Chattanooga Prep scoring 61 points and Westview scoring 52 points.
Westview’s efforts were not in vain, however. Westview earned the Silver Ball Trophy for being the runner-up team.
Westview is the second school in Weakley County history to gain a Silver Ball Trophy. Congratulations to the Westview Chargers boy’s basketball team for all of their hard work and efforts!
