Motorists are being reminded of construction that has started today at a busy intersection in Hickman.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says KY-1099/ Seventh Street will be closed at mile point 2.26, with KY-125/Union City Highway.
The closure will be for the construction of a new box culvert.
There will be one-lane, alternating traffic on KY-125/Union City Highway at the intersection until mid-July.
The project is to provide a wider turning area for grain trucks, flat bed trucks and other big equipment at the intersection.
The overall estimated project completion date has been set for November.
