The Center for Earthquake Research and Information has reported two small earthquakes in the local area.
A 2.0 tremor was recorded Sunday night just before 7:00 in Lake County.
Reports said the earthquake was actually centered in the Mississippi River, just over 3.5-miles northwest of Tiptonville.
A small 1.3 tremor was also recorded Monday morning just after 4:00, centered east of Chandler Mill Road near Ridgely.
