Austin Robert Drummond, the man accused of killing four persons in Lake County appeared before Circuit Court Judge Mark Hayes yesterday in Tiptonville.

Channel 7 reports Drummond’s attorney, Bryan Huffman, has asked for a change of venue, a mental evaluation and other pretrial requests made by defense.

Drummond is charged with murdering Cortney Rose, Adrianna Williams, Braydon Williams and James Wilson July 29th   .

Drummond is now being held at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution near Nashville while being segregated and is asking the Judge to look at moving the chase to a larger venue such as Shelby County.

An order for a mental evaluation on Drummond was ordered.

All motions filed before April 15 will be heard May 1st before Lake County Circuit Judge Hayes.

Drummond is the prime suspect in the quadruple homicide and fled but was captured August 5th  and has been behind bars since.
