It’s the second night of the UT Martin Rodeo with a near capacity crowd watching cowgirls and cowboys compete to move forward in the Ozark Region.
The UT Martin Spring College rodeo includes Bareback riding, Saddle Bronc Riding and Bull Riding while time events include Steer wrestling, Team Roping and Calf roping.
Cowgirls compete in Breakaway Roping, Goat Tying and Barrel Racing.
Also last night Heather Bavido of Martin was named “Honorary Team Captain.”
Tonight and tomorrow night two persons will be inducted into the UT Martin Rodeo “Hall of Fame.”
Doors will be open at 6:30 and all tickets are on line at Purple Pass. The rodeo is held inside the Ned McWherter Ag Pavillion next door to the Graham Stadium on the UT Martin campus.
