
A Union City Police Department member has been honored by the Carl Perkins Center.
Investigator Jamie Hall was named the “CPIT Member of the Year” for Obion County.
CPIT stands for Child Protective Investigative Team, which includes members of the District Attorney’s office, Juvenile Court, the Department of Children’s Services and Doctor’s Office.
Members of the group meet monthly to revue cases involving local children.
The Union City Police Department applauded Hall’s selection due to his dedication to protecting and serving the community, along with his hard work, compassion and integrity to safeguarding children and advocating for those who cannot speak for themselves.
