The Gibson Electric Membership Corporation said an outage Wednesday night affected 2,742 homes and businesses in Western Kentucky.
The outages in Fulton, Hickman, Carlisle and Graves County was caused by an animal that got inside the substation in Clinton.
Gibson Electric crews responded to the outage and power was restored at about 10:50.
