The company is undergoing a name change that more accurately reflects its goal of elevating the community through broadband connectivity. To better highlight the company’s commitment to being a local pillar of connection, development, and emerging technology, WK&T will become Cornerstone Connectivity.
Since 1951, when the company was known as West Kentucky Rural Telephone Cooperative, WK&T has been committed to providing the community with the tools to stay connected. What began as a dial telephone service for rural families has grown into an advanced telecommunications network spanning over 5,500 route miles and serving more than 38,000 residential and business subscribers.
Cornerstone Connectivity reflects the role the company plays in the lives of their customers. Their services allow people to achieve connection, whether it is with loved ones, friends, or people around the world. As a local provider operating where large telecommunications companies often don’t, they understand that these services are essential.
