Many Tennessee and Alabama fans will be watching the NFL Draft tonight and Ty Simpson is expected to go high in the first round.
Simpson grew up in Martin and helped the Westview Chargers win their first TSSAA state championship against Hampton High School and won the game 55 to 14 on December 4, 2021.
After that he chose Alabama during his four years he led Alabama to an 11 and 4 record.
Some 20 Martin faithful and friends are in Pittsburgh to support Simpson.
The NFL draft is on 105.7 WQAK the Quake at 6 this evening.
