A rebid is taking place for ambulances in Weakley County.
Due to a miscalculation on how many ambulances were needed, the Public Safety Committee decided a rebid was in order.
Weakley County Director of Finance John Liggett explains what happened.
The new bid is for a minimum of three ambulances and three bases.
Bidders considered for the previous ambulance proposal included, Weakley County Rescue Squad
and Ambulance,
American Medical Response,
Baptist Ambulance in Memphis,
and Southern Paramedics.
