Three Weakley County baseball teams will be batting for a Sectional game “win” that would send Dresden, Greenfield and Westview to the Spring Fling in Murfreesboro.
The winners this week will make the trip to the state championship games.
Saturday Greenfield defeated Dresden 1 to nothing and will now host Memphis Oakhaven or Memphis Middle College in the Sectional.
Dresden moved to the “loser’s bracket” but came back to defeat the Halls Tigers Saturday 14 to 4 to to move to the Sectional. Dresden will play on the road against the winner of Memphis Oakhaven or Middle College.
In Class Double-A Saturday Westview defeated Adamsville 6 to 5 and will now play at home in Martin against Memphis Melrose who defeated Memphis East. The winner will advance to the state championship games.
