Obion County Schools had a truly special night celebrating the Top- 10 Academic students from across the district.
School Communications Director Lauren Kendall said the honored students exemplify academic excellence, dedication, and perseverance.
Their achievements reflect countless hours of hard work, the support of their families, and the guidance of exceptional educators who have helped shape their journey.
The Top-10 Academic Banquet also serves as a reminder of the impact of public education and the importance of recognizing student success.
Two scholarships were awarded to senior’s Ben Swift and Lena Lannom from Obion County Central and South Fulton High School.
This year, the scholarships were awarded in honor of Peggy Lohaus and Emily Haynes.
The banquet also included Dr. Alanna Vaught as the guest speaker and General Sessions Judge Jimmy Smith as the scholarship presenter.
