The State of Tennessee has added new Troopers to their force.
Department of Safety and Homeland Security Commissioner Jeff Long, and Highway Patrol Colonel Matt Perry, welcomed seven graduating members of Lateral Trooper Class 97.
The group of prior certified law enforcement officers completed a rigorous eleven week training.
The graduating officers bring a total of 33 years of previous law enforcement experience, along with eight years of military service and two bachelor’s degrees.
