Obion County Schools is proud to announce that Lee Marshall will serve as the keynote speaker for the 2025 Top 10 Banquet, an annual event that honors the top academic achievers from across the district’s two high schools.

School Communications Director Lauren Kendall said Mrs. Marshall is a 1990 graduate of South Fulton Middle and High School, Marshall is the Founder and CEO of Kids to Love, a nonprofit organization devoted to supporting foster children and families.

Drawing from her own experience as an adoptee, Mrs. Marshall launched Kids to Love in 2004 from her garage. Under her leadership, the organization has grown to serve more than 316,000 lives across three campuses through over a dozen programs.

Kids to Love offers services including school supplies, trauma therapy, transitional housing, emergency resources, and a unique KTECH training program focused on workforce development. Most recently, the organization has led efforts to install Baby Boxes across Alabama, enhancing infant safety in the region.

In addition to her nonprofit work, Marshall is a three-time Emmy Award-winning journalist and a Harvard Business School alumna, and she holds degrees in Communications and Social Work. She’s been recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year and has led Kids to Love to be named one of the “Best Places to Work.” She also serves on multiple community boards.

Despite her professional achievements, Marshall says her most meaningful roles are as wife to Jeff and mother to daughters Ella and Emma.

“We are excited to welcome home such an accomplished and compassionate leader,” said Laura Pitts, South Fulton Middle and High School Principal. “Lee’s journey is a powerful reminder to our students that success can be fueled by purpose and service.”

The Top 10 Banquet will be held on Sunday, May 4th, 2025 at Discovery Park of America. This is an invitation-only event.
