A single vehicle crash in Hickman County on Tuesday claimed the life of First Circuit Commonwealth Attorney Micheal Stacy, of Kevil.
Kentucky State Police at Post 1 said the 68 year old Stacy was operating a 2018 Infinity Q50 in the 3000 block of U.S.-51 near Clinton, when for unknown reasons the vehicle left the roadway and stuck a tree.
Stacy was pronounced deceased at the scene, with his son, 30 year old Micheal “Bo” Stacy II of Cunningham, transported by air ambulance to an out of state hospital.
The younger Stacy was later released from the hospital after treatment of injuries.
Both occupants were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
