Discovery Park of America will host two multi-award winning bluegrass musical acts on Friday night.
The concert series “Rhythm on the Rails” will feature RFD TV’s “The Kody Norris Show”, along with Grand Ole Opry member Rhonda Vincent and the Rage.
The Kody Norris Show annually plays over 100 dates around the country and worldwide, and recently earned “Entertainers of the Year” honors by the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America.
During the awards ceremony, the band also collected “Song of the Year” and “Bluegrass Album of the Year”.
Rhonda Vincent is a Grammy Award winner, who is known as the “Queen of Bluegrass”.
During her career, Vincent has twice been named “Vocalist of the Year”, along with “Entertainer of the Year”.
Gates for Rhythm on the Rails will open at 5:00, with music to begin at 7:00.
Admission is free to the public, with food and beverages available for purchase.
Everyone is urged to bring their lawn chairs for the show.
