Obion County Budget Committee members received information this week from the watershed maintenance agency.
David Blackwood, of West Tennessee River Basin, was at the budget meeting to request Obion County’s annual membership fee.
During his presentation, Blackwood was asked to provide the board with an update.(AUDIO)
Blackwood was also asked if recent flooding and storms had affected the area waterways.(AUDIO)
Following his presentation, Mayor Steve Carr applauded the work of Blackwood and the other River Basin employees.(AUDIO)
