The City of Hickman Water District has issued a Boil Water Order for all residents that use the Brownsville water tank.
A main water line break Monday night, off Highway 309 and 925, had Public Works crews on the scene for approximately three hours.
Public Works Director John Amberg said water samples have been sent to the Kentucky Division of Water for testing.
Until further notice, those on the Brownsville water tank are urged to boil their water for three minutes prior to consumption.
