A shooting at the Mayfield/Graves County football game on Friday night resulted in injuries to one person.
Graves County Sheriff Jon Hayden confirmed the shooting and said the Mayfield Police Department was in charge of the investigation.
The shooting occurred during the football game, which resulted in players, referees and fans running for cover.
The game was stopped following the incident, with Kentucky State Police, the Graves County Sheriff’s Office and Mayfield Police on the scene.
Mayfield police were seeking assistance from witnesses to the shooting incident.
