
UT Martin’s Educator Preparation Program will host its “Empowering Educators Conference” Monday from 1 to 3:30 in the Boling University Center.
This year’s conference will feature Director of Special Education and Early Childhood for Union City Schools, Laney Rogers as the keynote speaker.
The conference will also feature multiple workshops, which include:
UT Martin Educational Studies lecturer Laura Plunk leading a workshop about partnering beyond the classroom.
Dyersburg High School math teacher, Darian Harris will be leading a workshop on supporting students with disabilities.
Principal at Jackson Academic Steam Academy Dr. Michael Morris, will be leading a workshop on the top 10 challenges in modern education.
And Metro Nashville Public School’s Kari Harold, on creating access through connection.
