Motorists on I-69 in Western Kentucky will continue to see areas of one lane traffic this week.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is performing a micro-surfacing project in Graves and Fulton County.
The project involves daytime lane restrictions on portions of the north and southbound lanes, which are marked with cones for one-lane travel.
Micro-surfacing is a pavement preservation technique, which applies a cold mix of asphalt, aggregate, water and additives.
The thin mix seals, protects and extends the life of existing asphalt, seals minor cracks, and provides a durable and smooth surface for travel.
Transportation officials say the project should conclude this week.
