Martin man found not guilty of second degree murder

A Weakley County Grand Jury found a Martin man not guilty of second degree murder, voluntary manslaughter, and reckless homicide Friday.

Fourty-four-year-old Mantaring Okie Woolridge was charged in connection with the April 2023 shooting death of 39-year-old Terry Wilson Junior of Martin.

The incident occurred at Woolridge’s business, Haircuts R Us Family Barber Shop, on North Lindell Street in Martin.

The case lasted three days and was heard by Circuit Judge Jeff Parham.
