Ice Flow in Mississippi River Causing Issues for Hickman Harbor Service

Large amounts of ice on the Mississippi River is now causing problems for the Hickman Harbor Service.

Towboat Captain Manager Terry Roncoli, with Wepfer Marine, said the ice has now made its way to Hickman.(AUDIO)

 

Roncoli said the ice creates dangerous conditions for the boats and deckhands.(AUDIO)

 

The Captain was asked if ice was a problem on the river each winter.(AUDIO)

 

Roncoli also talked about the large amount of ice in the Elvis Stahr Harbor.(AUDIO)
