The Weakley County Commission will meet in the Courthouse this evening at 5 to vote on bringing a day care to the county.
Director of schools, Jeff Cupples, explains why the county needs the day care.
The day care would be located inside the Personal Development Center on highway 22 in Dresden and would be funded by the Weakley County School System.
Mr. Cupples said they hope to use grant money.
He explains the timeline if it is approved.
The commission will also discuss the purchase of school buses, construction of the new Weakley County Chamber of Economic Development Office, and finances for the Dresden and Sharon Offices on Aging.
