A Martin man accused of abuse of a corpse and other charges will be in Weakley County Court tomorrow.
After being put on house arrest and a $25,000 bond at his last court appearance in March, 24 year old Elisha Stewart will be arraigned Tuesday at 9 am.
The charges come after he reported a dead body at his home on Old Troy Road in mid February.
Martin Police officers say the body had been there unreported for quite some time.
Officers also found that the body had been moved, and evidence was cleaned up at the scene.
Upon a search of Stewart’s backyard, a freshly dug hole was found.
