A squirrel was the cause of a power outage Wednesday morning in Dresden.
According to Weakley County Municipal Electric System, 562 customers lost power after a squirrel got on the underground primary switches on South Parkway Street in Dresden.
Power was restored by WCMES shortly after the culprit was found.
