Three earthquakes were recorded in the same area of northern Dyer County this week.
The Center for Earthquake Research and Information reported the first tremor on Monday night around 7:00.
The 2.0 earthquake was centered west of Ridgely near Church Grove Road.
A second tremor was recorded on Monday night at 9:30.
This 1.9 registered earthquake was centered near U.S. Highway 51.
The largest of the three recordings came at 4:40 on Tuesday morning, and registered 2.3.
This tremor was centered near Lanes Ferry Road.
The report said each earthquake was recorded at a depth of about 2.5 miles.
