The holiday spirit will be in Union City on Thursday, with events including the lighting of the Christmas tree and parade.

In advance of the tree lighting ceremony, several downtown locations will be providing hot chocolate starting at 5:00.
At the Christmas parade, cash prizes will be awarded to the “Best Overall Float”, “Best Decorated Vehicle” and “Best Antique Car”.
The Honorary Grand Marshall of this year’s parade will be Dr. Pete Blanton.
