A Union City church will be serving as a warming center, due to the forecast of temperatures in the teens and single digits.
The First Church of God, located at 415 South Miles Avenue, will open its doors at 5:00 on Friday.
Church Pastor, Bro. Ron Gray, told Thunderbolt News there was a need to help those in the community.(AUDIO)
Bro. Gray said the extreme temperatures will be dangerous to some that are less fortunate.(AUDIO)
The church warming center will remain open as long as needed.
