A Union City woman faces a date in General Session Court, after attempting to shoplift at Walmart, on West Reelfoot Avenue.
29 year old Jamie Lynn Kussman, of High Street, was observed skip scanning items at the self checkout section.
Union City police were called to the store, with Ms. Kussman still on the property.
A check of the receipt by Walmart security officials revealed the amount of the skip scanning at approximately $66 dollars.
Ms. Kussman was cited for theft of property and given a court date of February 6th.
