
The Fulton County School System will soon be searching for a new Superintendent.
Current Superintendent Patrice Chambers has announced her plans for retirement after 28 years in education.
Mrs. Chambers has served in the Superintendent role for the past five years, and will leave the position effective August 1st.
In her retirement notice, Mrs. Chambers said it has been a privilege to dedicate nearly three decades to the Fulton County School System.
She stated she was blessed to experience the school district as a student, teacher, parent and Superintendent.
