The Tennessee Iris Festival will be honoring Dresden City Recorder Jennifer Branscum as the Spirit of the Iris this year.
Mrs. Branscum told Thunderbolt News that she was honored to receive the Spirit of the Iris title.
Mrs. Branscum said that helping the community is important to her because of all the support the community gave her during the difficult times following the tornado of 2021.
Jennifer Branscum moved to Dresden in 2003 and has worked for the City of Dresden for 22 years.
