A traffic stop in McCracken County resulted in the arrest of an illegal alien from Romania.
41 year old Bogdan Drapac, who was living in Sacramento, California, was taken into custody after being observed traveling over 30-miles per hour near an I-24 construction zone.
Following a traffic stop, Sheriff’s reports said Drapac gave the deputy a passport and operator’s license from another country, which was discovered to be fake.
The Department of Homeland Security determined Drapac was in the country illegally, had an arrest warrant in Romania, and was also wanted in Texas and California for fraudulent credit cards.
He was issued multiple traffic charges in McCracken County, along with possession of a forged instrument and presenting an officer false identifying information.
Homeland Security placed an immigration detainer on Drapac.
