Another arrest has been made in Union City involving identity theft.
Union City police reports said investigators received information about individuals buying and filling out credit information using other identities.
Last Thursday, officers were made aware of suspects who were arriving at I-69 Motorsports on West Main Street.
Police reports said officers detained 31 year old Marcus Dajuan Jones, of Tuscalloosa, Alabama, after he arrived at the business and signed all paperwork.
Jones stated the Social Security Number he used on the application was related to an LLC, and was set up by his cousin.
Police learned the Social Security Number being used actually belonged to a Marcus Allan Jones, of Austin, Texas.
Marcus Dajuan Jones was taken into custody and transported to the Obion County Jail on charges of identity theft.
