A death investigation continues in Lake County with local, state and federal agencies assisting.
At the request of 29th Judicial District Attorney General Danny Goodman, the agencies continue to investigate the deaths of four individuals found Tuesday along Carrington Road in Tiptonville.
The deceased were identified as 21 year old James M. Wilson, 20 year old Adrianna Williams, 38 year old Courtney Rose, and 15 year old Braydon Williams.
The four were located Tuesday night, with two vehicles taken from the scene on Wednesday.
Wilson and Adrianna Williams are the parents of a seven month old child that was dropped off in a car seat at a residence in Tigrett on Tuesday afternoon. Rose is the child’s grandmother and Braydon Williams is the child’s uncle.
Attorney General Goodman said the public should not be alarmed, with the homicides appearing to be a targeted attack and not a random act.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has been placed as the lead in the case, with other assisting agencies including the FBI, U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force, Tennessee Highway Patrol and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.
Local agencies involved in the case include the Lake County, Crockett County and Dyer County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Tiptonville, Dyersburg and Jackson Police Departments.
