The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is looking for dove fields to lease.
Landowners can earn up to $4,000 to provide a dove field for public hunting for a minimum of three days in September.
The standard leased field is a harvested grain field, with payments of up to $75 for a maximum of 40 acres.
Fields top sown with wheat can earn an additional $25 per acre.
Anyone interested in providing a public dove hunting field can contact their TWRA regional office.
The opening day of dove hunting in Tennessee is September 1st.
