The Tennessee Highway Patrol has scheduled two checkpoints in the area for Friday.
In Obion County, a seat belt checkpoint will take place on State Route 214, five miles from the five mile marker.
The Highway Patrol will also conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Lake County.
Troopers will be checking motorists on State Route 21 at the Obion County/Lake County line.
